Zero in work, hero in dharna: Naqvi on Kejriwal’s standoff with LG

New Delhi, June 18 : Taking a dig at Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal, Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Monday said that when it comes to doing tasks, he is “zero”, but when you talk of protests, he is “hero” as the sit-in protest at Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal’s office by Kejriwal and three of his Cabinet colleagues on Monday entered its eighth day.

 

“Karne mein zero, dharne mein hero, Karna kuch nahi dharna sab kuch’ This is their mindset, it is destroying the trust people of Delhi had put in them: Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi,Union Minister on AAP protests.

Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who was on an indefinite hunger since Tuesday, was shifted to the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash Narayan Hospital late on Sunday night.

Kejriwal has been demanding ‘more power’ to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government and a directive be passed to the IAS officers to end their ‘strike’,on the contrary, bureaucrats on Sunday held a press conference and stated that they are not on any strike rather they are being victimised and misinformation is being spread about them.

Four chief ministers have rallied behind  Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)standoff with Lieutenant Governor (LG) Anil Baijal and urged the Centre to “rise above politics”, solve the “constitutional crisis” and not “restrict the federal system”..

Chief ministers of West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Kerala met  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday and urged him to immediately resolve the conflict between Delhi Lt Governor and the AAP government of Arvind Kejriwal , terming it a “constitutional crisis.
