New Delhi, Oct 18: Indian Cricketer Yuvraj Singh along with his brother Zorawar and Mother Shabnam has been booked over the charges of Domestic violence by sister-in-law Akanksha on Wednesday.

Akansha, was a contestant on last year’s Bigg Boss show, has registered a domestic violence case against her in-laws.

As per the website ‘Spotboye’ , Akanksha’s lawyer Swati Singh Malik said  “Yes, Akanksha has filed a case of domestic violence against Yuvraj, her husband Zoravar and their mother Shabnam”.

Speaking about Yuvraj Singh’s involvement into the matter, she stated he was a silent spectator in the ‘crime’.

“Look, domestic violence does not mean just physical violence. It also means mental and financial torture, which can be attributed to Yuvraj. He (Yuvraj) was a mute spectator to the suffering caused to my client by Zoravar and his mother,” the lawyer asserted.
