New Delhi: In wake of the horrifying Hathras gang rape and murder, and the continued atrocities against the Dalit community, Congress leader and former Member of Parliament Udit Raj on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to remove Yogi Adityanath from the post of the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons, the Dalit leader from Delhi, said that Adityanath can run a math (monastery), not a state. It is to be noted here that Yogi Adityanath was a seer before entering politics.
“The criminal activities that are happening, why are they happening? Why are only Dalits subjected to these atrocities? I would like to request Prime Minister Modi to remove Yogi Adityanath from the post of Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Inke bas ka nahi hai,” Raj told reporters.
He later took to Twitter with the same request and said that as long as Adityanath is in power, atrocities against the Dalit community will not end.
