Kolkata, June 28: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has sought names of Government and aided schools having more than 70% minority students, to send a proposal for the construction of dining hall for mid-day meal in schools.

The government has directed schools to reserve separate mid-day meal dining halls for Muslim students.

The order is reportedly effective for all Muslim-majority schools, which means any school with 70 percent or more students of the community.
