Bengaluru, May 16: As Karnataka’s political scenario gets intensive, the Congress on Wednesday said we have complete faith in Governor Vajubhai Vala.
Addressing media, Ghulam Nabi Azad said since 12-12.30 pm we are seeking an appointment with Governor so they can handover our two letters, 1 of legislator party of Congress another of legislator party of JD(S).
“We haven’t received any message from Governor so far. We are waiting eagerly”.
On being asked if Congress will go for a legal option, Azad stated ” Stealing of MLAs shouldn’t be allowed. No Guv can go against Constitution. We can’t tell you whom we’ll approach & whom not. At this juncture we’ve complete faith in Guv that he’ll go by Constitution and not party politics”.

Earlier in a day, the Congress and JD(S) alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to poach their MLA’s.
Following the poll results all three parties — the JD(S), the BJP and the Congress held their respective Legislature Party meetings on government formation in Karnataka on Wednesday.
Yesterday, both Bharatiya Janata Party and Congress-supported Janata Dal (Secular) called on Vala and staked claim to form the government in the southern state
However, today also all three parties met the Karnataka Governor.
Now all eyes are on Governor Vajubhai Vala, who will have to decide whether to call the BJP or go with the JD(S)-Congress alliance to form the government in the 224-member Assembly.
