Student union secretary of Aligarh Muslim University has written a letter to university authorities over President Ram Nath Kovind’s presence on University’s convocation ceremony on 7 March.
The letter says, ‘we don’t oppose the President but we do oppose the ‘Sanghi’ mindset that is against humanity.’
Clearing their stand on President Ram Nath Kovind’s presence in the University’s convocation ceremony on 7th March the student union secretary told ANI,”Not opposing Pres, we oppose ‘Sanghi’ mindset. In 2010 Pres said Muslims & Christians are alien to the country, that bothers us to date but we welcome President.”
“No other person with ‘Sanghi’ mindset will be allowed to enter, those coming as per protocol can come, he added.
