Lucknow, Sep 29: The Family of deceased Vivek Tiwari on Saturday questioned the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government that was he a terrorist that police shot at him.
Speaking to media, Vishnu Shukla, brother-in-law of Tiwari said “Was he a terrorist that police shot at him? We choose Yogi Adityanath as our representative, we want him to take cognizance of the incident and also demand an unbiased CBI inquiry”.
Meanwhile, Uncle of deceased Tilakraj Tiwari attacked the BJP government saying “it’s a clear case of murder.I’ve served as a police inspector, I know a person is never shot in the neck. Such an incident never occurred the way it has under Yogi Raj.
The Postmortem report established bullet hit on the left side of the chin and got stuck between the neck and the head, leading to his death due to profuse bleeding.
Tiwari’s wife Kalpana has accused the cops of being “trigger-happy”.
Kalpana told reporters that she along with her two daughters Shibi and Sonu were informed of “an accident” and that her husband had been taken to the Lohia hospital.
“When we reached there we were told Vivek had lost his life due to excessive bleeding,” she told the media, adding the bullet angle was not even revealed to the family.

The incident took place at around 1.30 a.m. when Tiwari was heading home after the launch of iPhone X plus along with Sana Khan, his colleague.
Khan told media, after the policeman failed to stop them, he chased him and shot him in the neck, killing him.
