India ranks as most dangerous for women: Kapil Sibal asks Modi ‘Is this the change’

Will Modi ask voters to vote on India emerging ‘Most Dangerous for Women’:Kapil Sibal

New Delhi, June 27: Senior Congres leader Kapil Sibal took a dig at Prime Minister Narendra Modi after a Thomson Reuters Foundation poll found the country was seen as the most dangerous for women in the world, asking “Is this the change Modi government has brought in India” and on what basis he will ask voters to vote for BJP in the coming 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.

“Thompson Reuters Foundation (550 experts report ,2018) : India most dangerous country to be a woman . In 2013 Modi referred to Delhi as the rape capital of the world . In 2014 asked voters to remember Nirbhaya . Kya badla Modiji ? Na aap na Desh, ” Former Union Minister Kapil Sibal tweeted slamming the Modi government.

The Congres leader asked, “What change Modi has brought in India in these four years.”

Sibal made a satirical tweet saying Modi himself referred Delhi as the rape capital of the world and in 2014 he reminded voters to vote remembering Nirbhaya case. Giving an ample hint to Bharatiya Janata Party, this time Indian voters will vote (in 2019 Lok Sabha Polls) on the basis of the survey conducted by Thompson Reuters Foundation on the dangers faced by women in India.

Thomson Reuters Foundation conducted a similar poll in 2011 in which India was ranked fourth.

PM Modi has been harping that his government has taken steps to ensure the safety of women but India moving to the top of poll is a shame for the Modi government as it showed nothing is being done to provide safety to women.

Alas, for Modi government violence against women is still not a national priority.
