Gandinagar, Dec 26: Vijay Rupani took oath as Gujarat Chief Minister for a second term here, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other leaders on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Nitin Patel also sworn as deputy CM for second consecutive term.

Along with Rupani, Patel other BJP leaders such as Saurabh Patel, Ganpatsinh Vestabhai Vasava and Jayeshbhai Vitthalbhai Radadiya, Dilipkumar Viraji Thakor, Ishwarbhai Ramanbhai Parmar and Pradipsinh Jadeja also took oath as ministers in Gujarat government.
PM Modi has arrived in Ahmedabad this morning, to attend swearing-in ceremony of CM elect Vijay Rupani and other newly elected leaders.
The ceremony held at an open ground near the state secretariat.
Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje Scindia, Chhattisgarh CM Raman Singh, Bihar Nitish Kumar attended the swear-in ceremony of Rupani and his cabinet in Gandhinagar.
