When asked about Ranbir, the Raazi star said that she feels shy to talk about her relationship with her “Brahamastra” co-star.

In a recent interview with The Telegraph, Alia’s filmmaker father Mahesh Bhatt had said he feels happy that his daughter is in a relationship with Ranbir and added that he is a great guy for her.

Asked how does she look at acceptance from her father on her relationship with Ranbir, Alia said: “Why are you going into future? You should stay in the present moment. To be honest, I don’t want to talk about it.

“I am feeling shy but I love my father and anything he says obviously means the world to me, but I don’t want to talk about this right now.”

On her upcoming line-up of films, Alia said: ‘’Kalank’ is releasing next year on April 18 and ‘Gully Boy’ is releasing on February 14. ‘Gully Boy’ has been selected at Berlin Film Festival and ‘Brahmastra’ is releasing on Christmas, so what a fabulous next year it’s turning out for me.”

How does it feel when people term her as ‘senior’ to Janhvi and Sara, she said: “I am not a senior. If you call it senior, then I am a senior to them but I don’t think there is such kind of vibe between us and they are not very much younger than me.

“They all are such beautiful girls. They treat me with a lot of warmth and shower upon me lot of love, so I will only give lots of love and warmth back to them.”

Deepika was interacting with the media at Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards 2018 here on Thursday.

She even received the US State Department’s International Women of Courage Award in 2014 from the former First Lady of United States, Michelle Obama.

Deepika will also turn producer with the film.

“We will start working on the film early next year. I think it’s a story that needs to be told. It’s a very important story and it’s a true life incident, so hopefully good things will come out of it”, Deepika stated.

Director Meghna Gulzar feels Laxmi’s story needs to be told to bring awareness in the society. Earlier, talking to a leading daily, Gulzar said, “Using Laxmi’s story as a lens, we are attempting to explore these aspects and the consequences of acid-related violence in our society. This’s what makes this must-told story relevant. Awareness is the first step towards change,”.

About casting Deepika as Laxmi in her film, Meghna added, “I was instinctively convinced that Deepika would do justice to the character and the story. Also, her physicality matched with what I’d imagined for Laxmi’s character. I’m grateful and encouraged that she was so spontaneous in her decision to do the film.”

Sonakshi Sinha

Mumbai, Dec 13: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha shared her shocking online shopping experience on the micro-blogging site on Thursday.

Upset over the wrong delivery, the actress tweeted a picture of rusted iron pieces she received instead of the Bose earphones which she had ordered from Amazon.

“Hey Amazon India! Look what I got instead of the Bose headphones I ordered! Properly packed and unopened box, looked legit… but only on the outside. Oh and your customer service doesn’t even want to help, that’s what makes it even worse,” Sonakshi wrote.

“Anybody want to buy a brand new shiny piece of junk for 18,000 bucks? (Yup, its a steal). Don’t worry, I’m selling, not Amazon, so you’ll get exactly what you’re ordering,” Sonakshi added with sarcasm.

The post went viral on the social media and the e-commerce company had to apologise for that. The company asked Sinha to share details for quick redressal.

On the work front, Sonakshi will be next seen in Abhishek Varman’s Kalank which also stars Alia Bhatt, Madhuri Dixit, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur along with Sanjay Dutt and Hiten Tejwani.
