New Delhi, July 23: Days after the US State Department identified Pakistan as one of the “terrorist safe havens”, NDA Vice-presidential nominee Venkaiah Naidu on Sunday said aiding and abetting terror will not help them and they should recall what happened in 1971.

Recalling Bangladesh Liberation War of 1971, He said Pakistan should remember India’s victory so that it realises what may happen if it continues to pursue terrorism as a “state policy”.

While speaking at ‘Kargil Parakram Parade’ in New Delhi, Naidu stated terrorism is the enemy of humanity, Pakistan is mixing terrorism with religion and unfortunately, it has become Pakistan’s state policy.

Dissent is agreeable but disintegration is not at all acceptable, he added.

Naidu’s remark comes amid of cease fire violations along the Line of Control (LoC) by Pakistan. According to PTI, eleven people lost their lives, including nine soldiers were killed while around 18 people injured in ceasefire violations by Pakistan.
