Dehradun, June 29: Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat directed the police to take a teacher into custody after she protested at ‘Janata Darbar’ seeking her transfer.
Rawat on Thursday also ordered her suspension, after she allegedly used abusive language and showed indecency, while demanding her transfer from a remote location.

The school teacher, Uttara Bahuguna, claimed she has been posted in such locations since last 25 years.
The viral video shows when Rawat dismissed her request, Bahuguna started arguing with him. Following this, Rawat lost his temper and shouted, “Suspend karo ise abhi (Suspend her immediately). Take her into police custody.”
Reacting to the incident, Congress leader and former Uttrakhand CM Harish Rawat said “Our system has become so insensitive that a widowed teacher remained posted in a remote area for 25 years no one listened to her?, he asked.
The Congress leader also advised Trivendra Singh Rawat to release the teacher and revoke her suspension.
