Uttarakhand: Rs 6 lakh in fake currency recovered, two arrested

New Delhi, July 14: The police on Saturday arrested two people and seized fake Indian currency notes of Rs 2000 denomination with the face value of Rs 6.02 Lakh from them, in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand.

Last month two persons were held for allegedly supplying fake currency notes in the national capital and other States. The police claimed to have recovered fake notes worth Rs 5 lakh.
