President Pranab Mukherjee offered prayers at Uttarakhand’s Badrinath temple along with Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat & Governor Krishna Kant Paul on Saturday morning.
High security arrangements were made for the President’s visit.

Every year, the Char Dham which includes Badrinath , Gangotri , Yamunotri and Keadarnath open in April/May after 6-month winter break, attracting thousands of devotees across the country.
Bardinath was opened today for public and will close on September 30, 2017.
Recently, last week Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited holy place Kedarnath to offer his prayers.
