In a major blow to the central government, The Uttarakhand High Court on Thursday set aside the imposition of President’s Rule in the hill state.
The High Court suspended all 9 Congress rebel MLAs and directs to conduct a assembly floor test on 29th April .
While after the decision came, Central government said that they will move to Supreme court against High Court’s decision on revoking of President’s rule in Uttarakhand.
After two consecutive days of hearing on a matter registered by ousted chief minister Harish Rawat, the court said the proclamation of central rule in the state stood null and void.
Congress leader and former finance minister Indira Hridayesh said her party “saluted the judiciary for upholding truth and law”.
Uttarakhand assembly floor test to be conducted on April 29.
