Uttarakhand debt ridden farmer commits suicide

Uttarakhand, June 25: This time, a Uttarakhand debt ridden farmer named Ram Avatar committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree in Udham Singh Nagar district’s Khatima.

All around the country, farmers are ending their lives due to the financial crisis.

Keeping a view on the rising suicide cases, many states waived off farmers loan to avoid the incidents.

On Saturday, Maharashtra government waived off farmers loan, however, the suicide toll in Madhya Pradesh is even more shocking and concerning.

 Now Uttarakhand has also joined the list of suicides cases of farmers.

It is the high time for state government as well as central government to put a full stop on these suicide cases.
