May 28 , Sunday : Two of the most hyped opposition party leaders , BSP Supremo Mayawati and Samajwadi party Chief Akhilesh Yadav might come together to hold a joint rally in Uttar Pradesh.
Recently, duo attended the all opposition party meet hosted by Congress President Sonia Gandhi in Delhi over presidential election.
The idea for joint rally mooted during the all opposition meeting , when RJD chief Lalu Yadav asked Mayawati and Akhilesh to come forward to form giant political congregations of anti-BJP parties across the country , Times of India reported.
This would be the very first time two strong rivals will be seen together.
The last time, Smajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party were seen together in 1993 pre-poll alliance ahead of the UP Assembly elections.
