Earlier in the day Rahul addressed a public rally in Hathras. He lashed out Prime Minister Narendra Modi for running a demonetisation drive against poor. He said when he met PM and asked for waiving off farmers’ loan, Modi did not respond. But during noteban when poors were standing in the queues outside the banks, he waived off fat loans of rich people.

Note ban was against poor as none of the rich people stood ever in the bank, ATM queues, alleged Rahul.

Yesterday in Meerut, Rahul Gandhi and Akhilesh Yadav in a joint rally had claimed that the “SP-Congress storm” would sweep BJP and BSP from Uttar Pradesh. They said it would “finish” Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is “trying to bring Company Raj” in India.

Just two days are left for political campaigning to woo voters in UP for phase 1. A spree of rallies would be held today.

Rahul Gandhi held four election rallies in UP today-Hathras, Bulandshahr, Hapur and Ghaziabad.
