Saharanpur, February 5: The battleground in Uttar Pradesh is all set as Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi addresses a public rally in Saharanpur and calls himself a “mirror” and “doab” (a joining factor) of Hindi and Urdu.
“Doab” is basically the meeting point of two rivers and Gandhi calls himself as a Doab for Hindi and Urdu as Saharanpur (referring to the demogrpahic mix of Saharanpur that homes both Hindus and Muslims.)
Citing Congress and Samajwadi alliance as a future of Uttar Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi said youth, women and farmers of Uttar Pradesh can see the face of their future into this SP Congress mirror. You will see your desires and hopes getting fulfilled in it added Rahul.
Taking a dig at Prime Minister Modi, he said Modiji waives of loans of riches as Mallaya. But our party is committed to the youth, farmers and poor people. We will grant loans to needy and promote Made in Saharanpur like made in China.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is presently addressing a rally in Aligarh, while Rahul Gandhi will take another rally at Kanpur with UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.
