Uttar Pradesh, 25 March: Many times we say that only a women can understand another women’s pain but this incident has spilled water on the sayings and showed such an inhuman behavior towards a victim who was already fighting with the society’s stigma.
In such a shameful act, three constables were found posing for a selfie and that is in the front of a gang rape and acid attack victim who was getting treatment.
Meanwhile, after taking a note on such a shocking incident the three constables were suspended.
The three women constables were taking a selfie in the ICU while on duty of a gang rape and acid attack victim in Lucknow’s KGMU Hospital.
A victim’s all trust to get the justice depend on the police to punish the accused for his deeds but when the constables themselves become the spectators to ignore a victims’ severe pain then there will be no way out to heal the trauma.
The selfie of those three constables went viral and the police department had to call for suspension and order a probe.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath met the victim yesterday who complained about negligence towards her by the KGMU Hospital authorities.
Adityanath on Saturday summoned King George’s Medical University (KGMU) vice-chancellor Ravi Kant after taking note on the matter.
Adityanath also gave a cheque of Rs. one lakh as compensation to the victim’s husband.
