“Is this your idea of ‘justice for our daughters’, Mr 56?” , Gandhi questioned Modi.
This came into the limelight after the Unnao rape case victim’s uncle wrote to police alleging that the key witness who died under suspicious circumstances was buried without a postmortem.
Yunus, who reportedly died on Saturday, was a key witness in the rape case in which the father of the victim was allegedly assaulted by BJP MLA Kuldeep Sengar’s brother and his friends under police custody, leading to his death in April this year.
BJP MLA from Unnao Kuldeep Sengar is one of the accused in the sensational rape case.
The Central Bureau of Investigation had earlier filed a chargesheet in a Lucknow court against Sengar, his brother and eight others, including three police personnel, in its probe into the Arms Act case in which the politician had framed the father of Unnao gang-rape victim.
