Almost one year after assuming the office of Uttarakhand Chief minister by Trivendra an RTI has revealed a shocking information about his first day.
In a reply to an RTI query, RTI Officer stated that after Uttarakhand CM Trivendra Singh Rawat assumed his office on 18th March 2017, Rs 68,59,865 of govt fund has been spent on refreshments and snacks for guests.
In the query, the RTI activist Hemant Singh asked as to how much money has been spent by the Rawat after assuming office as the Chief Minister of the state.
It is to be noted that Rawat, a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader assumed his office on March 18 last year.
However, the party’s reaction is awaited.
