New Delhi, June 14: An Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) was seen hovering near Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lok Kalyan Marg residence in the national capital on June 7.
According to Hindustan Times report, Delhi police confirmed the sighting but they didn’t reveal the details of the incident.
“The sighting was reported but nothing threatening was found. More details cannot be shared keeping security reasons in mind “, Special commissioner of police and Delhi police chief spokesperson Dependra Pathak was quoted as saying by the Hindustan Times.
However, following the massive combing operation, the security personnel didn’t find anything substantial.
The region around the Prime Minister’s house till a 2 km radius is a no-fly zone.
After the incident reported at around 7.30 pm in the evening that day, the message was conveyed to the Intelligence Bureau and National Security Guards.
On the related note, the report also mentions earlier incidents in September last year when the Delhi police security control room was informed about drone-like device hovering over the Parliament area. But no object was captured on the ATC’s radar, which cannot capture small flying objects in any case.
