Two female bombers kill over 60 in Nigerian refugee camp

At least 60 people were killed when two female  suicide bombers detonated explosives in a camp for people displaced by an insurgency of the jihadist Boko Haram group in the northeast Nigerian town of Dikwa,the latest violence in the remote region..
While a third suicide bomber was arrested who infiltrated the camp before she could detonate her device.

The attacks were carried out by two teenage girls in Dikwa, about 55 miles northeast of Maiduguri in Borno state, as hundreds of people  were busy collecting food .

“Fifty-two persons were given mass burial in Dikwa while several other corpses were transported to Madiguri,” he said.

President Muhammadu Buhari who has been on holiday, described it as “regrettable that the heartless  terrorists chose to unleash their wickedness on people who were taking refuge from previous acts of destruction in their homes”.

Boko Haram terrorists  has already destroyed all telephone facilities around Dikwa, where  thousands of people are living in camps displaced by attacks carried out by the Islamist insurgent group Boko Haram
