Tulip Garden in Srinagar to open for public From April 1

Jamu & Kashmir, March 28: The Tulip Flower Festival at Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden in Srinagar will be open for public from April 1 and will continue for next 15 days.

On the occasion, the Director Floriculture, Gardens & Parks, Muhammad Hussain Mir, said that the festival is meant to boost the tourism in Kashmir during which various activities will be held to attract tourists to the famed garden.

It is the largest tulip garden in Asia spread over an area of about 12 hectares. It is situated on the foothills of Zabarwan Range with an overview of Dal Lake.
