The 16-year-old girl who was taken into custody for hitting an Israeli soldier will remain in detention until her trial ends said the Israeli military court.
According to Reuters Ahed Tamimi resident of f Nabi Saleh in Ramallah punched Israeli soldiers a few weeks ago when they hit her brother with a rubber bullet which made him unconscious. The Girl has become a symbol of protest and encouragement after her video slapping the soldier went viral on social media.
Defence minister Avigdor Lieberman praised the court’s decision to keep Tamimi in custody, tweeting: “Israel will not permit the harming of its soldiers and anybody trying to do so will pay a heavy price.”

Ahed Tamimi has been fighting for the recognition of Palestine since the age when she was 11 years old. However, this is the first incident when Israeli military has held Palestinian youths in Custody, according to Children International the figure is above 300.
The family of Ahed Tamimi is known for the resistance against Israeli Forces.
Both sided has been criticised for violating human rights in the conflicted area. Hamas the Palestinian group is a static force against Israel.
Israel and Palestine are in conflict over the territory for many years, the jews of Israel were settled in Palestine during the Nazi period of Hitler in Germany. Palestine was a Muslim populated country and opposed the domination of Jews in the area.
To solve the ethnicity problem between the people of two different communities there have been several proposals including two state theory. But time after time both Israel and Palestine come face to face with each other over territories of West Bank and Gaza Strip.
