Traders faces problem in GST filing, BJP leader comments

New Delhi, Sep11: Traders faced big problem in filing the GST first return on GST Network (GSTN) portal. Famous economist and BJP leader Subhramanian Swami comments on Twitter about government, “he alerted the government but nobody was ready to listen him”.

Swami also mentioned in the tweet, the problems of the GSTN and said government should transfer the portal from private companies hands to Central Board of Custom and Excise (CBEC).

While filing the GST return for the month of July traders faced problems. Confederation of All India Traders (CAT) said in the last day of return filing the site crashed with traffic.

It was confirmed while filing GSTR-3B, the GSTN software was suffered with some fault. Then, the last date  of GSTR-1 increased from 31 July to 10 September. Still, huge traffic found while uploading challan, then the date increased till 10 October.

CAT said audit of GSTN will be done carefully.
