This comes nearly two days after a second Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) worker was allegedly killed in the state.
Reacting to the incident last week, Union Textile Minister Smriti Irani accused TMC of targeted killings of BJP workers in West Bengal after the bodies of two BJP workers, Dulal Kumar and Trilochan Mahato were found hanging in Balarampur of Purulia district.
Kumar’s body was recovered hanging from a pole on June 2, while Mahato was found hanging from a tree on May 30.
