New Delhi, July 16:  Government has called an all-party meeting today ahead of Parliament monsoon session to discuss several issues that are likely to be discussed.

The Trinamool Congress said they will boycott All Party Meeting but they will attend Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan meeting, where she will seek cooperation from all parties for the smooth functioning of the houses.

TMC came up with the decision in a wake of recent communal violence in West Bengal.

Before the monsoon session, the ruling party  BJP and opposition Congress will convene their separate meetings with their respective candidates.

The BJP parliamentary party executive committee will meet at 3 pm at the Parliament library building, while Congress high-level meeting is slated to meet at party’s president Sonia Gandhi’s residence.

Earlier on Friday, the centre had called a meeting with opposition leaders to brief them over Indo-China stand off and Jammu and Kashmir issue.
