Three terrorists killed in Kashmir encounter

Srinagar, Jan 8: At least three terrorists were killed on Monday in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Badgam district, police said.

Security personnel first shot dead two militants and then a third who had sneaked into a nearby house in Kaneera village, news agency IANS quoted,  a police officer was saying.

“The bodies are lying at the site,” the officer asserted.

Personnel of the Army’s Rashtriya Rifles, the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and the Special Operations Group of the police cordon off the village following an information about the presence of militants but were fired upon, erupting the fighting.
