Three coaches of Darbhanga-Kolkata Express derail near railway crossing in Darbhanga

Patna, Sep 28 : Many trains were diverted after three coaches of Darbhanga-Kolkata Express derailed near a railway crossing in Darbhanga district in Bihar on Friday.

Railway officials rushed at the spot as soon as the incident was reported.

Relief and rescue teams and railway officials have arrived at the spot.

No information about anyone being injured in the incident has been received so far.

The investigation is underway and the cause of the derailment is yet to be ascertained. More details awaited.

On Thursday, the rear coaches of an empty EMU train which was being taken from the Velachery station to the shed nearby derailed.
