Tanuja sees the world of filmmaking more professional nowadays

Versatile actress Tanuja sees the world of filmmaking more professional in today’s times.

“Nowadays, a film is made in an another phase. We never did any rehearsals or workshops before shooting. In our time, directors used to come on set late, they seemed relaxed while working. It was not as professional as it is today. I’m soo glad to see that the complete process is being done so professionally,” Tanuja said here.

Tanuja finds it a “great idea” to hold workshops to get a cast together.

the 72-year-old actress conclude, “It seems to be like a team effort and not just that a producer or director is making the film. So, I am very pleased to watch this (change)

The new film is the directorial debut of actress Konkona Sen and Tanuja essays a role in it.

An admirer of Konkona’s work as an actress, Tanuja said: “I think she is an amazing actress and I know she is going to make a worth watch film. I have been in this industry for a long time and I have heard a lot of scripts. She is the only director who narrated the script to me and I have closed my eyes and been able to visualise the entire film. God bless her.”
