Tamil Nadu assembly Session: DMK chief M K Stalin evicted, Detained

June 14, Wednesday : On the  first day of  Tamil Nadu assembly session witnessed stormy scenes, as it was interrupted after  DMK leader M K Stalin raised the issue of cash for vote MLA sting, following this he was evicted from the house and afterwards the police detained him.

Stalin before before detention said, the Speaker forcibly evicted us from the assembly, this is a murder of democracy.

All this took place due when the speaker denied to discuss AIADMK MLAs bribery row in the house by saying the case is still sub-judice.

Meanwhile, DMK leaders staged protest against the speaker’s decision for not allowing the discussion over the cash for vote MLA sting in the house, raised placards, which prompted the speaker threatened to take action against the DMK.
