Supreme Court seeks response from Centre, EC on tallying of VVPAT

New Delhi, Jan 7: The Supreme Court on Monday sought a response from the Central government and the Election Commission (EC) seeking direction to the poll panel to increase the tallying or VVPAT with EVM votes from current 10% to 30% for the upcoming general elections. 

The notice was issued by a bench of Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi and Justice Sanjay Krishan Kaul.
