Sunny Leone adds ‘chamak, namak’ to ‘Ragini MMS Returns 2’

Sunny Leone Ragini MMS 2

Mumbai, Nov 22 : Actress Sunny Leone has added oomph to the second season of the erotic-horror web series “Ragini MMS Returns” with a special dance number.

Titled “Hello ji”, the peppy song has been composed by music director duo Meet Bros and sung by Kanika Kapoor. The new song has brought back the “Baby doll” team together.

“Having worked with Ekta (Kapoor) before and having an absolute blast, the two of us knew that we’d definitely be working again. That’s the beauty of the industry. You work with someone, there’s a gap in between and then you collaborate with them again. The two of us get along so well and this time we want to hit it out of the park,” Sunny quipped.

“The song is extremely catchy. The visuals are very hip and cool. Everything about the song makes me elated to be a part of it. I’ve worked with Vishnu (Deva) before on countless songs. We know exactly what to do and how to make it different. Even the set on which the song is shot gives me good memories. It reminds me of all the great things we did here,” she added.

ALTBalaji and ZEE5’s “Ragini MMS Returns Season 2” is a story of a 20-year-old Ragini Shroff who along with her gang of girls goes on a planned trip. What follows is a series of incidents which topple their world upside down.

CBI contacts Bihar Police as it finalises FIR in Sushant Rajput case: Officials

Maharashtra government has raised objection to the move as Bihar does not have jurisdiction to start probe in a different state.

Sushant Singh Rajput No More

New Delhi, Aug 6 : The CBI has got in touch with Bihar Police as it finalises an FIR in a case related to the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, officials said Thursday.

“After getting the notification from the government, CBI is in the process of registration of the case. We are also in touch with Bihar Police. The FIR will be uploaded soon,” said an official.

Rajput, aged 34, was found hanging from the ceiling of his apartment in suburban Bandra in Mumbai on June 14 and since then Mumbai police has been probing the case keeping in mind various angles. Bihar Police also swung into action following a complaint by Krishna Kishore Singh, the 77-year-old father of Rajput, and a resident of Patna.

Patna Police had registered an FIR under IPC sections related to alleged criminal conspiracy, cheating and abetment to suicide among others on the complaint.

Sources said the agency needed some more information from Bihar Police before proceeding with the registration of the FIR.

The case will be probed by the Special Investigation team under Superintendent of Police Nupur Prasad and will be supervised by DIG Gagandeep Gambhir and Joint Director Manoj Shashidhar, both senior IPS officers from Gujarat cadre, they said.

It has been handed to the CBI on a reference from the Bihar government which has been forwarded to the agency by the central government.

A state government cannot give a case to the CBI. It is routed through Department of Personnel and Training, the nodal ministry for the CBI.

The agency has acted in swiftly on a reference from Bihar government, home state of Rajput, where the deceased actor”s family had lodged an FIR against his friend Rhea Chakraborty, they said.

Seeing anguish in Bihar, which goes to assembly polls later this year, over the death of Rajput, the state referred the matter to the CBI even as Mumbai police is probing the main case related to alleged suicide of the actor.

Maharashtra government has raised objection to the move as Bihar does not have jurisdiction to start probe in a different state.

Mumbai police had registered an accidental death report and an investigation is underway in the case. Till now, the Mumbai police has recorded statements of 56 people, including Rajput”s sisters, Chakraborty and some other film personalities like Aditya Chopra, Mahesh Bhatt and Sanjay Leela Bhansali.

Was late TV actor Samir Sharma battling depression, money crisis?

Many similar poems written in Hindi and English, with pain and heartbreak as themes, can be found in his social media accounts.

Sameer Sharma

Mumbai: Television actor Samir Sharma allegedly ended his life by committing suicide in his Mumbai apartment. The 44-year-old actor was found hanging in his kitchen on Wednesday night. The police suspect that he probably died two days ago.

Recent social media posts of the late actor raise the question if he was battling depression.

On last Monday (July 27) Samir had shared a poem on his unverified Instagram account that reads:

“I built my pyre

And slept on it

And with my fire

It was lit

And all that was me

I burned in it

I killed my dream

To wake up from it

Now my dream is gone

And I with it

I woke up to ashes

And I was in it

I took what was left

And left it in a stream

And hoped my ashes

This time have a better dream.”

On July 20, the actor had shared a short film he made, on his unverified Facebook account. Titled “The Cut”, the effort has been described by the actor as: “A film about the psychological effects of the isolation due to the lockdown on a person living alone.”

Another poem shared by the actor on Facebook on June 8, reads:

“I breathed through you,

I lived through you,

I felt what you felt,

I dreamt what you dreamt

I forgot where I ended

I forgot where you began

I was who you were

But didn’t know who you are

And I didn’t see it coming

I just saw you going.”

Many similar poems written in Hindi and English, with pain and heartbreak as themes, can be found in his social media accounts.

Samir Sharma used to stay in a rented apartment in Malad West, which he had reportedly moved in during February this year. A social media post he shared in the first week of June indicates that he was looking for another change of residence, and was keen to move into a shared apartment.

“Looking for a shared apartment, with independent room in Malad West or Goregaon West, if anyone has a place, and is interested, pls DM me…. Thanks,” posted the actor on Facebook on June 2.

The post raises question if he was facing monetary crisis.

Dr Singh also shared that over the past few months of lockdown, “cases of depression and anxiety among people have increased and that is not only because of confinement but due to several other factors like uncertainty of the future and lack of support which is testing our coping skills”, he said, adding: “Some people are facing economic problems, too.”

Samir Sharma was a popular face on television. He has featured in daily soaps like “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”, “Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii”, “Left Right Left”, “Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki” and several others. He last featured in the ongoing daily soap “Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke”.
