Students protest in Gurugram’s Kadarpur for school upgrade

Haryana, May 19, 2017: Demanding up-gradation of their institution to Senior Secondary, 170 students in Gurugram’s Kadarpur stage protest outside their school premises on Friday.

On May 17,  the girl students of Haryana’s Rewari, who were sitting on a hunger strike in support of their demand to upgrade their school to senior secondary level, on Wednesday ended the strike after their demands were accepted by the Haryana government.

However, the state government issued a notification informing about the up-gradation of the Government High School Gothra Tappa Dahina (Rewati) to the level of Government Senior Secondary School from the 2017-2018 session.
