Squad for India vs New Zealand ODI announced, Series starts on Oct 22

New Delhi, Oct 14: The All-India Senior Selection Committee on Saturday announced the Indian Cricket Team for the three-match One-Day International series against New Zealand which will start from October 22. 

The first ODI will be held at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai.

This time Batsman KL Rahul was left out while wicketkeeper Dinesh Karthik, opener Shikhar Dhawan were recalled.

The ODI series between India and New Zealand are slated to held in Mumbai, Pune and Kanpur.

The T20I series is scheduled to take place in Delhi, Rajkot and Thiruvananthapuram.

Indian Squad : Virat Kohli (Captain), Rohit Sharma (vice-captain), Shikhar Dhawan, Ajinkya Rahane, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav, Dinesh Karthik, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Shardul Thakur.

Meanwhile, New Zealand also named its updated 15-member cricket squad, adding six members for the One-Day International (ODI) and Twenty20 International (T20I) series against India.

ODI: Kane Williamson (captain), Todd Astle, Trent Boult, Colin de Grandhomme, Martin Guptill, Matt Henry, Tom Latham, Henry Nicholls, Adam Milne, Colin Munro, Glenn Phillips, Mitchell Santner, Tim Southee, Ross Taylor, George Worker
