New Delhi, Feb 7: Former Congress Chief Sonia Gandhi on Wednesday targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi after his speech in Lok Sabha.
Gandhi said people of India want to know what the Prime Minister will do about employment.
Earlier in a day, Congress president Rahul Gandhi also slammed Modi saying PM should answer the country on the Rafale deal, farmers issues and employment generation, instead of questioning the opposition.
Speaking to media outside Parliament, he stated he can understand that before 2014 Modi was blaming the Congress for everything, but even after being in power for four years he was still questioning the opposition instead of giving answers to the people from the floor of the House.
The Prime Minister in his more than one and a half hour long speech questioned the previous Congress-led government and blamed them for not doing enough for the progress of the country.
Modi also blamed the Congress for “hastily” bifurcating Andhra Pradesh and has said India is lagging behind because of them.
