New Delhi, May 13, 2017: Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who was suffering from food poisoning, has recovered and has been discharged from New Delhi’s Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on Friday.
Gandhi was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital on May 7 with food poisoning, the hospital informed.
According to Dr D.S. Rana, Chairman (Board of Management), SGRH: “Gandhi after recovering from food poisoning has been discharged today May 12, 2017, at 7 p.m. Her condition at the time of discharge was stable.”
This is the second time so far this year that 70-year-old Gandhi was admitted to the hospital. She was last admitted in January, with complaints of fever and chest congestion.
