Special Operation Group, SOG of Rajasthan Police has issued notices to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot along with some ministers and MLAs for making their statements in connection with the luring of MLAs by offering money.
The SOG had registered a case two days ago based on a phone recording done before the Rajya Sabha elections. Two people have also been arrested in this case. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of destabilizing the government. He also expressed confidence that his government is stable and will complete the full five-year term.
On the other hand, state BJP President Satish Poonia said that there is a constant rift between Chief Minister Gehlot and Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot.
The government is divided into two groups and the Chief Minister is blaming the BJP for saving his chair. Since last night, many members of the Council of Ministers and MLAs have visited the Chief Minister’s residence to meet Mr Gehlot.
Even before the Rajya Sabha elections, Mr. Gehlot had accused BJP of destabilizing the government and conspiring, after which all the MLAs and ministers were lodged in a hotel till the election.
