After the verdict of Mumbai high court, today Bhumata Brigade activist Trupti Desai entered the Haji Ali Dargah of Maharashtra.
The ban was imposed around five years and the case were taken by the Bharatiya Muslim Mahila Andolan (BMMA) – a Muslim women’s rights group.
Earlier, Trupti Desai one of social activist fight for the women to get the right to full access of Maharashtra’s famous Shani Shignapur temple, dedicated to Saturn or Shani. After the order, Trupti Desai also shares her happiness and said that “This is an historic decision, we welcome the HC order, big win for women”
However, Trupti kept away from the sanctum sanctorum of the dargah.
A delighted Trupti said, “No one denied her entry today… Hope women will be able to offer prayer soon.”
