Mumbai, Nov 27: Veteran singer Mohammad Aziz passed away following a heart attack in Mumbai on Tuesday. He was 64.
Aziz was on his way back to Mumbai from Kolkata when he suffered a heart attack. Following this, he was rushed to Nanavati Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
The veteran singer is famous for numbers like “My Name is Lakhan”, “Mard Taangewala”, “Imli Ka Boota” and many more.
Aziz, who was known for his love for Mohammad Rafi, began his musical journey in Kolkata and later he moved to Mumbai.
He had worked with Kalyanji-Anandji, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Rahul Dev Burman, Naushad, O. P. Nayyar, Bappi Lahiri, Rajesh Roshan, Raamlaxman, Ravindra Jain, Usha Khanna, Anand-Milind, Nadeem-Shravan, Jatin Lalit, Anu Malik and others.
