Guangzhou (China), Dec 16 : Indian shuttler P.V. Sindhu created history by emerging as the first Indian to win the season-ending BWF World Tour Finals.
Sindhu clinched her maiden BWF World Tour Finals Title ,beats Nozomi Okuhara of Japan 21-19, 21-17 in the final match.This is Sindhu’s 14th career title and first season-ending title and several people congratulated her through twitter.

The Indian shuttler made a fast start but Okuhara managed to stay within touching distance.
Sindhu defeated former world champion Ratchanok Intanon of Thailand in straight games in their women’s singles semi-final on Saturday.
