Siliguri, Sep 7: A canal bridge in Siliguri’s Phansidewa collapsed on Friday.
According to the reports, the bridge over Pichla river in Phansidewa block fell down when a lorry carrying bricks was crossing it.
No casualties and injuries have been reported, so far.

Minister of Tourism Goutam Deb visited the incident spot.
The Darjeeling police also called a Forensic team and further probe is underway.
Earlier this week, a portion of prominent Majerhat bridge on Diamond Harbour Road collapsed in South Kolkata, crushing three people to death and leaving 19 injured.
