New Delhi, Sep 8 : Launching a scathing attack on Prime Minister, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut asked Narendra Modi’s response about the warning given by Pakistan’s army chief General Qamar Javed and the promise he made in 2014 that under his leadership India will make Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, a part of the country by capturing it militarily.
Sanjay Raut, a Rajya Sabha member who is also editor of the Sena mouthpiece ‘Saamana’said, “The manner in which Pakistan Army Chief has threatened, the Prime Minister Modi and Defence Minister Nirmala Sitharaman should be asked about it.”
Reminding Narendra Modi about the promise he made during campaigning in 2014, Raut asked, “PM Before election, BJP and the PM had said they will make Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, a part of India. We would like to ask the PM about it.”
“Now it is going to be 5 years of this govt. When you had asked for votes you had promised this and we had clapped for you. Where did that strength go now?”, Raut added.
“Pakistan ke saath humko jo vyavhaar karna chahiye, wo vyavhaar boli ka nahi goli ka karna chahiye, ” Sanjay Raut said India should talk to Pakistan through barrel of the gun.
The people of “India-occupied Kashmir” have “stood firm and are fighting bravely”, Pakistan’s army chief Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa said at a function in Rawalpindi on Thursday to mark Defence Day, which commemorates the end of the 1965 war with India.
“I salute the people of India-occupied Kashmir who have stood firm and are fighting bravely: Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa said. Bajwa reaffirmed Islamabad’s support for “self-determination” in Jammu and Kashmir, according to media reports.
