Mumbai, Feb 21 (IANS) Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra and her businessman husband Raj Kundra have welcomed their second child — a daughter through surrogacy, sources told IANS.

They have named her Samisha Shetty Kundra.

A thrilled Shilpa said that Samisha was born on February 15 and tagged her little angel as “Junior SSK”.

“Samisha Shetty Kundra… Born :15th February 2020 … Junior SSK in the house…. ‘Sa’ in Sanskrit is ‘to have’ and ‘Misha’ is Russian stands for ‘someone like God’…

“You personify this name, our Goddess Laxmi and complete our family,” Shilpa wrote alongside a glimpse Samisha on social media.

Mumbai, May 24 (IANS) Actress Sameera Reddy, a mother of two, says she understands what it takes to be a new mother, especially during this difficult time.

The actress, who has worked in films like “Race”, “Musafir” and “Maine Dil Tujhko Diya”, gave birth to Hans in 2015 and welcomed Nyra in July last year.

“Every time I look at my baby girl, I feel a sense of joy and optimism. There are so many stories that I will be telling her about the unconditional love and efforts that doctors, nurses, police forces, and the community at large are putting in to ensure our safety and protection,” she said.

“I understand what it takes to be a new mother, especially during this time. I have always championed that we mothers are imperfectly perfect — the ups and downs, constant worry, disconnection, these feelings are normal and I am confident that we will come out stronger,” she added.

Diapers brand Pampers” new film “#WelcomeToTheWorld” struck a chord with her.

“There is so much beauty and love present in our world today. This is the start of something new and truly is the best time to be born,” said Sameera.

Building on the insight that no matter the uncertainty that surrounds her, a mother is engulfed with hope and a deep sense of positivity when she holds her baby for the very first time, the film shares a mother”s wish for her child during this time of uncertainty.

Mumbai, May 22 : Veteran actress Mumtaz has dismissed rumours of her death in a video message, saying she is very much “alive”.

“Hi my friends. I love you all. See, I am not dead. I am alive. I am not that �buddhi’ (old) as they say. I still look presentable because of your blessings,” Mumtaz said.

The video has been shared by Mumtaz’s daughter Tanya Madhvani on her Instagram account.

Urging everyone to stop spreading false news, Tanya wrote: “Message from my mother to her fans ! With another death hoax going around she is well and doing great ! Despite images of her being spread across the internet when she was fighting her cancer battle many years ago that claim she looks old ! . She is now healthy and happy and beautiful ! Give her a break she is 73.”

Mumbai, May 22 : Actress Rakul Preet Singh says the lockdown pushed her to do 108 surya namaskars at least two to three times a week.

In a video she shared on Instagram, Rakul Preet is seen practising the yoga position.

“This lockdown has pushed me to do 108 surya namaskars atleast 2-3 times a week and The feeling post practice is indescribable #sunsalutation helps you build inner and outer strength , create mind body balance and churns every organ of your body to release toxins @anshukayoga #morningroutine#balanceoflife,” she captioned the image.

Rakul recently shared that her yoga journey began two years back and since then it has been a joy for her.

Rakul took to Instagram, where she shared a throwback photograph of her doing a complicated inversion yoga pose and said that life is all about balance.

On the acting front, Rakul will soon be seen in a cross-border romantic-comedy with actor Arjun Kapoor. The film is directed by debutant Kaashvie Nair and produced by John Abraham, Nikkhil Advani and Bhushan Kumar.

Rakul Preet will also be seen in Kamal Haasan’s ambitious upcoming film “Indian 2”, which co-stars Kajal Aggarwal and Vidyut Jammwal.
