New Delhi, April 22 : Sheila Dikshit , the longest serving Chief Minister of Delhi, serving for a period of 15 years from 1998 to 2013, will be contesting the polls from North East Delhi, while Ajay Maken will contest from New Delhi constituency.

Ending all speculations of alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Congress party on Monday released list of candidates for 6 out of 7 Parliamentary constituencies in Delhi.

Delhi PCC chief Sheila Dikshit has been vocally opposing any type of alliance with Arvind kejriwal’s AAm aadmi Party.

The Congress has fielded Arvind Singh Lovely from East Delhi, Rajesh Lilothia from Northwest Delhi and Mahabal Mishra from West Delhi

From the Chandni Chowk constituency, the Congress has fielded JP Aggarwal. Kapil Sibal represented the constituency from 2004 to 2014.

AAP leader Gopal Rai accused the Congress of “wasting” its time over an alliance in Delhi, Haryana and Chandigarh.”We even postponed the filing of nominations of AAP candidates but now all our six candidates in Delhi will file their nominations on Monday and we will also launch a ‘Pol-Khol Abhiyan’ against the Congress,” he said.
