New Delhi, Oct 5, 2016: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif today once again denied surgical strikes carried out by Indian Army at terror launch pads and said that India fired from the Line of Control.
While addressing a joint session of Parliament on Kashmir issue, Sharif said “Burhan Wani’s martyrdom brought Kashmir movement to a defining moment, adding that the valley is bubbling up like a volcano.
“We are against war but we would like to resolve all the issues with India including Kashmir. Peace cannot be achieved in the region without resolving the Kashmir dispute,” Sharif said, adding that he has talked to UN and other world leaders to resolve the Kashmir crisis.
He demanded that Indian atrocities and violation of human rights should be ended in Kashmir. PM Nawaz also asked for putting an end to the ongoing curfew in the Occupied territory.
Sharif said “Within hours of Uri attack and without any investigation, India blamed Pakistan for it. Uri incident took place exactly when I was about to address UNGA, the timing seems suspicious. Pakistan suggested an international level inquiry of Uri attack with an open heart.”
Earlier, When Pakistan PM was asked by the US and the UK to condemn the attack on the Indian Army camp at Uri in Jammu and Kashmir, he flatly refused to denounce the assault.
