Alwar, Dec 6: Loktantrik Janata Dal party leader Sharad Yadav on Thursday made a derogatory remark against Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje.
Addressing a rally in Alwar, he said, “Vasundhra ko aaram do, bahut thak gayi hain, bahut moti ho gayi hain, pehle patli thi. Humare Madhya Pradesh ki beti hai” (Give her some rest, she is tired and becoming fat. Earlier she was slim. She is a daughter of our Madhya Pradesh).

The BJP leader is fighting for a second consecutive term in the state. The polling will take place on December 7 and the counting of votes to be held on December 11.
She is contesting Assembly elections from Jhalrapatan constituency against BJP veteran Jaswant Singh’s son Manvendra Singh, who had recently joined the Congress.
