New Delhi, Nov 22: The Supreme Court on Thursday rapped BJP Delhi chief Manoj Tiwari for breaking the seal of a locked house in an unauthorised colony in Gokulpur area of the national capital and described his action as “misplaced bravado”.
Besides this, the Court also declined to take any action against Tiwari and closed the contempt proceedings against him.
The Apex Court left it to the Bharatiya Janata Party to take actions against Tiwari.
“There is no doubt that Tiwari has taken law in his hand. We are pained by the machismo&manner of Tiwari. As an elected representative he should have acted responsibly rather taking law in his own hands”, the Court said.
